Disable Shared Documents

If you want to disable the Shared Documents folder that shows up on the network, do the following.

Open Registry Editor

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer \

Now create a new DWORD Value and give it the name "NoSharedDocuments'
Enter a value of 1 and then Log off or reboot the computer.
